Sept 25/26/27 Meteors

The past two nights have been plagued by clouds and, in the case of the 25/26th, some light rain. Even considering the clouds, detections are less than the September average.

I saw the fireball(s) in South Australia you mentioned above (26th Sept), it was truly spectacular. It rose in the north, and burnt right the way across the sky, before disappearing over the southern horizon. I was in Whyalla, but a friend of mine who was camping 50kilometers north of Port Augusta saw it too.

In Mokena, Illinois, we saw two fireballs on Saturday September 26th between 630 and 650 pm. We did not see them fizzle out; they seemed to last quite a while.
